Although I chose a scientific path, my interest in aesthetics never disappeared.
This dual perspective, combining logic and visual expression, has shaped the way I work today: turning data into experiences that are both analytical and meaningful.

My career began in a media agency, where I spent eight years working with data and analytics. During that time, I discovered the work of Garr Reynolds and others who emphasized clarity, simplicity and emotional impact. This approach changed how I saw data. It was no longer just about explaining numbers, but about creating understanding.

I then joined a global automotive company, where I spent six years in digital roles. There, I used data to support strategy, improve performance and guide decision-making across teams and functions.

Today, I am Chief Data Officer in a mid-sized company. I oversee the entire data ecosystem, from infrastructure and governance to data visualization and artificial intelligence.

In parallel, I explore how data can be transformed into visual forms that reveal meaning, create insight and support better decisions. This is my personal practice and conviction about data art.

What i believe

  • Data alone does not create understanding and adoption
  • Insight comes from how data is shaped and perceived
  • Aesthetics can accelerate clarity and decision-making

What i do

I transform data into visual experiences that help people understand faster, see differently and make better decisions.
This work reflects personal explorations, occasionally informed by broader professional contexts.

Why LUMA DATA ART?

LUMA stands for Learn, Understand, Make, Awaken—a process of transformation. The name also echoes Lumen, Latin for light. My work aims to bring light to raw, often cold data—revealing its meaning, emotion, and power.

The logo story

The logo blends a fox head into a Voronoi diagram—a nod to data, design, and nature. I grew up near a forest, spending endless hours immersed in the colors and rhythms of the seasons. Autumn, with its vibrant foliage, left a lasting impression.

The fox, curious and analytical, reflects my approach to data art: observe, dig, connect the dots, and reveal hidden insights.
